Our Journey
In 2005, the Sampson and Wilson families formed Capital Management with the purchase of a single property in central Topeka. Over the past two decades, they have expanded their portfolio to include 80+ commercial, residential single-family and residential multi-family units, all in the northeast Kansas area. Their experience in managing homeowners’ associations began in 2021 with the acquisition of 25 out of 26 units at the Colony Condominiums near 29th and Macvicar in Topeka, KS. 

Wheatland Property Management was originally founded in 1981 by Maggie Warren. In the early 2010s, Maggie shifted the business focus exclusively to HOA management. In 2020, Jared and Kristin Muir acquired Wheatland, modernizing it through key partnerships with CIT Bank and AppFolio. In 2023, the Muir family decided to sell the business to concentrate on other pursuits, and the Sampson and Wilson families purchased Wheatland Property Management in January 2024.

Monday - Thursday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Friday: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Severe Weather
When USD 437 Washburn Rural closes due to inclement weather, we permit all of our staff to monitor our phone and email systems from home. During severe weather, please call our office at 785-273-2000 so we can assist you over the phone.
